Hey guys! Happy new year! I hope this will be your best one yet. Now that the festive season is over, it’s time to get back to the grind and figure out plans for the year ahead. I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t really function and plan a single minute without having some kind of method and system. Hence, I thought I’d share my monthly planning system with you guys.
So I started off by choosing out some pretty stationery. I personally feel more motivated when I’m surrounded by stuff that inspire me.
I purchased these A4 notebooks from Typo(3 for R150), and there are so many insanely cute designs to choose from.
This notebook is my basic planner. Here, I’ve created a method to track things such as important dates, monthly to do lists and book lists. Whilst there are so many free printables you can choose from, if you’re looking for something more personal, just get creative and design your own planner. Figure out lists and plans that work for your lifestyle and plan your monthly entries around them.
The other book I purchased was this cute spiral bound A5 notebook from Mr Price Home (only R30!), and this serves as my journal.
I find great comfort and effectiveness when I write down my prayers and thoughts, and taking some time to write each day is a way to keep your mental health in check. Again, get creative with this. It’s a great stress release.
Lastly, I invested in a few packs of colorful pens and markers. Whilst I’m always happy just sticking with my black fineliner, I find that the more colorful and creative I get, the more I enjoy the process of planning.
